The instrument cluster, with with aftermarket boost gauge. Note the operational factory tachometer
Wiring installed in the glove box. The big yellow connector is the remaining ECU connector that feeds through the dash. The two extra wiring harnesses in the black spiral wrap (lower right) is for the 7MGTE transplant. That other mess of wiring in the lower is for my stereo. I'm going to clean it up one of these days.
This picture shows alot of wiring. You can see the 7MGTE engine harness at the top right. The three plugs go over the metal bar and plug right into the ECU. The big grey connector is one of two connectors that connect to the 7MGTE wiring harness. The other one is stuffed just below it. It's the yellow connector.
Here's the ECU. It fits real tight in the old location, but it does fit. The screw at the top of the picture (1 of 2) holds the bracket for the glove box door loop. The top part of this bracket needs to be cut so to fit the ECU. The yellow connector has the water temperature sensor feed over to the dash gauge
Here's the factory glove box installed.
