Remove the brack caliper and rest it on the milk
crate (or similar support object). Do not stretch the brake line,
as you may damage it.
Remove the 3 nuts from the strut tower.
Remove the two bolts from the steering knuckle to
strut housing.
The strut sits on two collars, which extend up about
.2 inches. Pry between the steering arm and lower control
arm to unseat the strut tube
The strut assembly can now be removed. Give a squirt
of PB Blaster on the threads of the shock lock nut. They can be
stubborn.
