Prefabricated:

• HKS-  $450- perfect fit, excellent tune, ~10 HP gain, aluminized, prone to rust, discontinued a while back but might find in some warehouses
• Pacesetter-  $130- nice sound, thought of as junk, might have some trouble attaching
• Brullen-  $500 -closest in sound/quality to the HKS system.  100% stainless steel. 

Have a local muffler shop MANDREL bend a pipe (2.25"- 2.75") and choose a muffler of choice (this is a list of performance mufflers that members have experience with):

• Flowmaster- 2 chamber @$70- aluminized, very loud, annoying droning/ resonating inside car, not passenger friendly
• Dynomax UltraFlo- @$120- stainless, quiet sound at idle, good growl at high rpms, passenger friendly
• Borla- loud

High Flow Catalytic Convertor

• Random Technologies- $180- regarded as the best, identical physical dimensions to stock  
• Catco- JC Whitney & other mail order catalogs $80-$120
• Test pipe- to replace cat, "off-road" use only, replace with original cat for inspection and emissions check

• Doug Thorley $360- Tri Y design, excellent quality, factory chrome prone to flaking off within a year
• Pacesetter $250 Armor coated- must modify pipe to use O2 sensor
