84 p-type spoiler

I have an 84 P-type and i have noticed that the spoiler has had some wear and tear from i suppose the wind. There are rough spots on the corners of the spoiler as well as the top of the back part of the spoiler. I am curious to know if anyone knows how to refinish this so that i dont have to look at that eye sore anymore.
