We have a problem from time to time, where people post up photos that are HUGE in width, and it throws off the format of the forum - makes it appear all wacky, because the photo is larger than the forum is set up to display. Not everyone wants to reduce their photos down to something manageable - so now you don't have to.

Here's an example of how it works: (photos of the convertible Supra)

Another example: (the post your desktop thread)

Watch what the images do - on dial up, it make take a sec for all the photos on that page to load.
They shrink down to 550 pixels in width, staying inside the boundaries of the forum.
If you want to see the full size image - just click on the image in the post and a new window opens up. ;)
It only works on images that exceed 550 pixels wide.
Note: you must have java enabled in your browser for this to work.

(I was getting tired of converting huge images into clickable links)

Enjoy! 8)

nope pages will prob still load at same speed.....it's still gotta download the whole pics but then it shrinks them. i think. im no computer pro but that's what i think someone said and i kind of figured out.
I know...dialup sucks....at my parents' place it's slow as can be...i don't load pics there! :? I have high speed where I'm living now!
