any M block should drop right in right? Anyone of you guys got any good info out there on engine swaps for the mk1?

I know a 7MGTE swap was done, not sure if he posts here much anymore.

Most M series engines will more or less drop in. Talk to Sam O'Holloran (Black Dawg) about doing a 5MGE conversion (he reused the 5ME ECU, I would have swapped over the 5MGE ECU).

Or bug Damon Saul (Turbo MKI) if you can find him (busy guy) about his 7MGTE conversion.

as long as the engines pretty much drop in without needed custom mounts, then i can figure out the rest of it, as far as wiring goes :D
