(Update car was just sold at 6:30 PM EST 02-28-2005 to someone who frequents this forum. Thank you, celicasupra.com)

location : Atlanta, Georgia (Gwinnett County in the city of Lilburn)
price : $3000 (That is what I paid)
pictures : http://totsubo.com/pto/thumbnails.php?album=6
condition : You decide. I think it is a 7 out of 10, but others who have seen it say 10 out of 10 and I got a good deal at $3000.
contact methods : please email me at totsubo@gmail.com

5-speed. It has 189,000 miles on it. All paperwork. Runs well. Garage kept. Tires 80-90% tread. No door dings. Complete working celica supra except for items listed under qwerks. Even has the original trunk items all in excellent condition (such as the spare tire, fabric lining, tire iron, jack, wood cover, and retractable trunk cover.)

Qwerks:
Rear Dif wines a little.
AC does not blow very cold, but does work.
Clicking behind the dash... probably the heater valve. Common problem, does not effect the overall operation of the vehicle.
Small nick on the rear bumper. See pictures.
Small rust spots around the gas cap, under the hood lid towards the front lip, and rear hatch lip area. See pictures.
Driver's vanity light does not work.
Missing two plastic clips on the air/heater controls.
No radio installed. I removed the cheap head unit the previous owner installed and was searching for a stock.
The antenna is not the original powered type.

This is one of the best example of an 84 celica supra in the Atlanta area. It is worth the $3000 I paid. Straight body and everything. Perfect for your restoration project. It even has the original pin stripe and is covered largly with the original paint. I did see touch up paint here and there.

Need to sell, maybe losing job, renting/selling house, and moving to Japan.

Yeah Greg, I saw those pics and figured at that price, this wouldn't take long.

I would like to say, but I was hoping the person who bought it would post a reply.

OK - I'm the one who bought it. Took delivery today. Am very pleased. Now I will have to continue protecting car but will be driving it as all Supras should be driven. Interior of this 84 really has no sun damage unlike my 85 maroon cloth interior. Plan on getting my 85 seats looking like Greg G's 85 restoration in the above thread link.

Anyhow, nice to have this "new" 84 needing no interior or body work. Really like the sunshades on the 84's. Thankyou totsubo! Nice meeting another Atlanta Supra enthusiast. Plan on keeping in contact with you to assure at some point you get another Supra.

And thankyou celicasupra.com for providing this means of sellers and buyers meeting.

My profile is now updated

Looks like this guy is challenging for the "most running Supras owned at once" award. The BHG is expected with the MkIII. :-P

Nice find!

It was great meeting you, 84/85MKIIATL. I will keep in touch.

I do not know if anyone here is interested, but there is a car meet every first Thursday night (after 8 PM EST) of every month at the Varsity in downtown Atlanta. The MKII crowd in Atlanta can meet there.

I will probably post another thread about it.

BTW: I jumped the gun in thinking I was going to lose my job. My employer has not terminated my position. I will be staying in Atlanta. However, (off-topic) my manager still may lose his job... which really sucks. If anyone knows of a company in Atlanta that is hiring a Marketing Manager, please let me know. I would like to help him out. He is good ol boy with strong ethical and work values. Georgia native, Georgia Tech grad, and so on and so forth.
