I know it took a while but my friend Andrew (blue 85) just put this vid together. After two long hard days of editing and getting in trouble with his wife, he finished it.

I would like to Thank Robert Pina for resizing this down and hosting this vid for us and Andrew for making this video

I Never was much of a Drag Guy after I got into Drfting.

Great video... Nice to see the ending with a few MK2 folks laughing together... That's what makes our group so admired by others.. good people enjoying each other's company tossed in with some cool Mk2 Supras! Can't wait till Oct this year..Jay B in AZ

I was at 1:15 Walking away from the Cam. Also a still shot at 2:14

I was the Driver for all the driving shots. And no we didint race Jim we only did a drive by shot of the MK2s going to the BBQ.

Awww man I just rememberd the high light of the trip to SILV!!! It was Zanks BALD HEAD!!!!! I remember saying to Andrew ABUDA BUDA BUDA BUDA And then started busting up!!!! :lol:

We had a guy drive down from toronto this year. I drove down from Vancouver. We already have one member promising to come from Australia this year :P

Someone's coming from AUS???? Who???? I know Andy Somerville is hoping to come up from NZ.

Yeah, it was two MkIIIs (at least) from Canada - at least one from Toronto (black, had a couple of trophies sitting in front of it at the Show and Shine), and Duane from (I think) BC with his 600+rwhp beast.

I think Seamus is referring to Andy the Kiwi. :-)

So, yeah, no excuses. There were several people from the East Coast last year (mostly MkIVs)...let's get some more MkIIs out this year. And Seamus needs to bring one of his cars down this year (though it was great to have him down last year anyway, even Supraless).

If it makes ya feel any better, vid helped me decide to go to Vegas this year... I'll expect to be in the next vid though... :-)
Also, what kinda times we're the MKII's doing in the 1/4? 15.9 is my best thus far... just curious how far off the pace I am.

I think it all depends on the driver/altitude/condition of car. I managed to pull a 16.03 at but I suck at driving :oops:

I royally suck @ drag racing, especially in Vegas.....

For me, it does not help that I'm running the bigger/heavier 16" Compomotive's, so it does not accelerate as quickly.

The 2,200 ft altitude does not help me, since my motor is tuned for sea level.

Then if you include my crappy driving/shifting, the results = mid 18 second passes...

Unless I can find a way to also bring 2 of my stock sized tires that are on the lighter P-Type wheels, I will probably pass on drag racing again. If anything, I need to find out how well the Redpra really runs on the P-Type wheels at sea level. And one of these days I need to run the Silver Slug down the 1/4 mile to see how well it does.
