UPDATE:
Car is off to the wrecking yard, thanks to all that responded!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the title says, I'm parting out a 1981 Celica Supra. The car is complete, but popped a head gasket. Interior for the most part is bad, body panels are good. I would prefer selling to locals in the Bay Area, CA. Thanks for the space!
Here are a few pics:

Hrmm.....
And you have what appears to be the Beige Metallic paint on the outside. If you can, can you pop the hood & take a look at the dataplate that is on the center of your firewall & tell me what you paint code says??? Does it happen to say 4A4 on it??? Just checking!! TIA!!
Devin!!! A Beige interior!!! Here's some parts for ya!!!!

The code is 4A4L.... Most of the interior pieces are not too good though ( although I remember that the dash was in good condition since the dashmat was there)
The rims are 14" Enkei Apaches.

Thanks for the info!!!!
You may be hearing from Devin Poorman (poormansupra) very soon, if you don't mind shipping a upper dash pad to Utah!!! Along w/ a few other items!!!

Sounds good. I took a peek under the dash mat today, and as I remembered, no cracks, just a little faded with age! Also has a new air flow meter. So far, the passenger B-Pillar, hood emblem, and tranny/driveshaft/rear end, and tach are spoken for. I added a few more pics to the original posted pics link as well.

Looks like a nice rust-free one and a 5-spd! Shame to see it go to parts. Whatever happened to restoring these old classics? Seems restoration is out and cannibalization is in! Gives new meaning to the term "pimp your ride".

I know what you mean. In this case, restoring would mean a new engine and interior at least. If it was something simple, believe me, the car would be on the road right now. It just wouldn't be cost effective for me to put it back on the road, and I doubt anyone here would be willing to take on the task as well.
There also isn't a huge demand for classic toyotas. I am actually thankful for this fact, because I can find cars and parts cheaply and easily.

Coolness
I love how most the MKI's have the beige interior
The dash pad I am so very interested in this peice. My pad is all wavey and so I would be looking for a pad that isn't wavey and as no cracks. if you would mind taking a couple pics I greaty appreciate it. Also I am in need of the rear hatch cover. (mounted on the bottom of the hatch, covers the hatch lock from the inside). All the ones I come acrossed are crack or have big plastic chunks taken out of them, do to cargo. On the out side I will take your clear parking lenes on your front fenders if they are in good cond. thats all I can think of at the monent thanks alot..

One more thing Shoot me a price
Chris, if you look at the engine shot, the intake piece that you are looking for looks really good. I didn't know if you looked at it closely so I though I would bring it to your attention..

Are you seeing a good number of these (rust-free, mechanically-excellent) '79-'81 Supras in California?

Such things exist?
Seriously, I think that ones in good looking and running condition are pretty rare and will cost a premium price, but ones that need work can be had for cheap it seems like every other week.

From what I have read, none of the MKI Celica Supras came to the states with LSD?

So far, this is what we are finding out, based on the axle codes that myself & Damon Saul have seen, on the firewall dataplates. Possible that
"something" may have snuck in from the factory, but I have not seen one yet.

Well I haven't seen any yet. But
I have a mag, believe it's a super street mag. Anyways it has a old school Corolla and the guys says that he pulled the axle out of a 1981 celica supra and it had the LSD rear end. I kinda believe the guy because on is car he also as 1981 celica supra rims that are tripple chrome plated, most likey from the same car...
I don't know. All I know is that I want one...

The 1981 supra has a 5M-E not a 5M-GE
