Hey All,
I don't know if it has been discussed but couldn't find anything under search...
My MA61 bumper bar is split at the bottom after some one split it with some force... I don't know what it was but at least it's at the bottom.
Is there a way to be able to glue the split together? If so what should I use (currently spit and duck tape is holding it together  )?
Cheers.

we talking about the bumper urathane skin. I glued mine back with gorilla glue and duct tape as a clamp. Its water proof and has held for 7 mos now with no prblem.

Yes, I mean the skin, what do you mean gorilla glue? and is it flexable?
Cheers.

Local auto parts here sells a kit just for that around here.
Do a search...locally maybe ?

An epoxy works good for gluing the urathane back together.
A hobby shop should have some.
Just have to hold it together somehow while it cures.
Don't use a cynacrylate (sp?) 'super glue', as it's brittle and will crack with the next hit.

gorilla glue (brand name) is a urathane glue . it is very flexible. I ve used other brands of urathane glue there not as good. its from Holland and name as the worlds strongest glue. My bumper fix I pushed on it once a week to make it flex , and no problems.
Funny thing it sticks to the bumper material but not the paint on bumper

parts stores that sell bodyshop materials to bodyshops will carry everything you need to fix it properly, but it requires a bit of skill at working with puddy, primer, sanding etc. Any bodyshop can fix it for you, and most major cities have places that do nothing but repair old bumper skins. They can completely restore almost any mangled bumper skin. Or you can just glue it yourself with the stuff they use. Back to the parts store, they carry plastic welding kits for glueing tears back together. Its actually just a 2 part epoxy, but its specifically made for this purpose. To get it looking like new, you'll have to get flexiable bumper filler as well, sand, primer, repeat then paint etc. If you want it perfect I suggest you take it to a pro.
