View Full Version : Brullen cat-back, indiglo EL instrument panel

I will soon have available a full Brullen cat-back system for the '82-84 Supra (longer cat). It's the 2.5" system; works with turbo applications but is better for an N/A car. It's about 2-1/2 years old and is in good shape. I just pulled it out of my '84 and am replacing it with a 3" Brullen system, but am awaiting some custom welding work on my downpipe. Once that's done and everything's running, I'll be selling the 2.5" system. I paid about $575 USD for it new. I'll consider any offers over $375 plus shipping (and it is heavy). SoCal buyers could save a bit of cash by picking it up or meeting me part way. I'll put up some pics soon, but would like to know if there's any interest.

I also have a Speedhut reverse-indiglo electroluminescent instrument cluster panel available. It looks like this:

except that the font is a little different (slimmer). I'll try and post a pic of that soon, too. Make me a reasonable offer (I paid $80 for it, and it's still brand new).

that cluster is hot. any modifications to make it light up? direct plug n play for an 82?

No mods to make it light up...it's plug-and-play...BUT...if you have the 85mph speedo which came stock in the '82, the speedo readings would be way off, since this overlay is for the 130mph clusters that came with the '84s and newer.

Yeah...get an '84 cluster. No other easy way. Sorry 'bout that.

Correct!!!! The Speedhut indiglo overlay is ONLY available for the 84+ 130mph analog speedo. It is NOT available for the 85mph analog speedo, nor for either digital dash. If you want the indiglo mod, you'll need to swap to the 130mph cluster.

no no thats what i meant, is the 130 mph a direct plug and play for the orignal 85 mph speedo, or are my speeds going to be way off all the time assuming i get the speedometer to actually work?

OK, Kurt, will do. At this point, though, it's apparently sold and will be shipped as soon as I get the 3" system into the car. If he changes his mind, I'll let you know.

Would you take $60 shipped for the speedo cluster? Payment via paypal and use a slow shipping method :lol: I'll take it... kinda at a bad time cause my 85 chucked its first head gasket and I'm doing a motor swap on it =p
