Thanks for the vids, my freind was standing over my shoulder when the mkii beat the 996, and he was cheering the 996 on cuz he loves his porsches and when the mkii beat him he became silent and started laughin so hard. It was great. Thanks again

Yes, #1 and #2 videos look like the same MkII and ran a 12.33 :!: against the MkIV.
Whose car is it?

That would put that car as the #2 top drag time behind jody's 11 sec tubbed MkII time.

I did a little digging and I *think* it's Chris Parvin's mkii. (vids #1 and #2)

I remember the guy (can't remember his name for the life of me) moved to Cary NC recently was involved in the build up of Chris's car talking about it here somewhere. He was one of the guys doing the 7M swap for ppl on the east coast a few years back.

I remember him saying that mkii was pushing 400+ HP and pretty high boost but I can't remember details....
