I installed a new clutch a few months ago, and it acts strangely (imho). Under normal conditions, everything is fine, up/down shifting, starting from a stop, engine braking are all normal. When I try to launch to race someone, it feels like it is slipping, maybe. I rev to about 3000 maybe 3200rpm, and I dont "drop" it, but I let it out somewhat quickly. The car will lurch, then the r's drop, then it lurches again, at the lower rpm, and I get a horrible launch. Is this a clutch problem? Or a problem with the way I launch?
