WTB: 84 or 85 Celica hatchback

doesnt matter if it's a GT or GTS, but 5 speed is preferred. I need a car that gets better than 18mpg. I used to get 30/36mpg in my 84 GTS.

car must be in Florida, must run and drive without engine knocking, transmission slipping etc. Otherwise the car could be completely rusted out, I dont care. Saving money > looks right now :?

Too bad your in Florida...I coulda led you to one in Pa that would have fit your bill perfectly.. 32 MPG Daily driver... so rusted out you needed a tentis shot to look at it. ;)

guys selling one here in west palm for a thousand probably can talk him down needs paint but little rust from what i have seen pm me i can go look at it for you if your interested its around the corner from my house on his lawn for sale
