Current mileage????

Plan on a petroleum fluid change, or Synthetic?????

The W58 uses a GL4 or GL5 spec fluid.

Synthetic.... Redline Fluids are on our recommendation list (along w/ Amsoil, but I'm not as familiar w/ their products).

If you are under 100K miles, then you use the Redline MTL fluid. If above 100K miles, then go w/ the Redline MT-90.

Hey,

I just changed my gearbox and diff fluids yesterday. I just used conventional 80W90 high pressure gear oil for the gearbox. Whatever u use make sure its GL-4 or GL-5 spec 75-80W90.

Redline fluids are absolutly amazing. Nothing beats them.

Ive had a C52 transaxle from a Corolla go from a gear grinding howling beast to an absolutly smooth quite running tranny with MT-90. Thats with changing the fluid every 8000km though, just to be safe!

Its expensive as heck, but OH SO worth it! =)
