Does anybody know the different choices of tires for the stock wheels on an 85 Supra? The only ones I could find were a set of Michelins on Tire Rack. Thanks for the help. :mofomad:

Try ordering some yokohama avid h4s from a tire shop. You can probably find a match, and they're really nice tires. I dropped 1/2 profile step to fit them on mine, but you may not have to.

I bought a full set of Yokohama Avid STs form Summit. For all Four tires and shipping, it was aobut $250-$260. Good tires. I just wish I had a lower profile instead of the 225/60/14s. My car understeers like crazy.

I love these tires....except in the snow...if I have to go somewhere, if I don't then I love them still.

Tirerack.com has the AVid ST's for $48 each, but they won't list them for use on a Supra because they are 'only' T rated to 118mph. What you need to do is click the 'Search your tire size' link under Shop For Tires and enter the size. Do not mention that you are putting them on a Supra. I have a pair that lasted about 50k miles with lots of high speed driving (up to around 130mph regularly). H rated tires would be better if you have replaced suspension components, but the Avid's are good for the money and handle good enough for worn out stock suspension.
