Low risk,

Nice car, you have a two tones 1981 Celica-Supra with front and rear spoiler. One most expensive car of that year. It is automatic?
For your information 1981 was the only year that first gen Supra came with a 2.8L engine. The idea was to compete with the 280ZX, but the Supra was too heavy and the change the body in 1982.

What kind a project are you going to do? a Race car?

How is your MKI dealing w/ the sharp tight turns & whatnot??? Is it understeering like a major MOFO??? (for those of you that bitch that a MKII understeer's like something nasty at times, get behind the wheel of a MKI, you're in for nice surprise).

What are you running for shocks??? (I'm running the Tokico HP's). Still have the P-Package swaybars in there?? (there is not too much of a difference (sort of) in the swaybars between the stock MKI bars & the Performance Package bars. Fronts: Stock: 22mm, P-Package: 24mm. Rear: Stock 14mm, P-Package: 17mm).

Possible helpful hint here. P-S-T DOES offer a polygraphite bushing kit for the MKI front suspension (and I believe a rear bushing kit for the rear trailing arms). The front kit I believe is $139, the rear kit is $80. (I need to order this one of these days when I can find a set of the Performance Package springs & swaybars).

That video of the 1 run looks good.

Alot of understeer, When I tryed to clutch kick around the 180's I just hopped the rear tire and kept understeering. I havn't done any mods to this car at all, and im thinking about holding off for a little bit. I found a 1984 Nissan 300zx for sale for $3,300. The car is in MINT condition, the only thing I saw wrong with it was the driver side armrest was a little off. Its a 5 speed too :). Im offically on a quest for pre 85 rwd jap sports cars. Im going to start a pre-85 Import car club down here if my buddy gets this ae86 this week. Youll have to give me the website for all the suspension stuff, I have yet been able to find ANYTHING!! Thanks in advance.
