Clutch Travel????

Ok first off I am not dumb, but not too skilled in the transmission area.

Not sure what I should be expecting but my clutch will only engage and disengage when pushed almost or completely down, very near the floor.

Now I have no idea about the condition of the clutch, but is this fairly obvious problem with an obvious solution? Or is that the way a stock clutch operates??

the shaft connected to the clutch arem and going into the master cyl is adjustable. Grab a flashlight and take a look at the top of the clutch are. You have to loosen the set nut and spin the shaft.

If that doesnt work bleed the system.
