Hello everyone, ok I want to buy some rims and tires for really cheap and I want to know if I should even get them since they are 16x7, (+40mm) offset, 4 bolt (4x114.3). These will go on an 83 mk2 supra p-type, with preferably 225/45/16 for rubber, or i could go for 245/45/16 for the same price but will i have issues to be concerned about?. This will be going on with new shocks/struts all around and with 1.5" ST lowering springs. Will I have any problems? Thanks

+40 will NOT fit without spacers.....PLEASE use search or at least read the whole 1st page of this section. This question has been answered MANY times, just in the last few months.

Yes, 1 problem.

The +40mm offset. Plan on adapters (preferable), or spacers (not as preferable), to bring the wheels out. Otherwise, your wheels won't even mount onto the lugs, the back of the tires will be hitting either the strut housings, or the shocks. You will need either spacers or adapters thick enough to bring the wheels out to something between a +3mm - +10mm offset (remember, our 14 x 7" P-Type wheels are a +8mm offset).

What are they asking for the wheels??? Plan on also figuring in the cost of spacers or adapters. Prices will vary on this.
