If you are anything over about 21 years old, I doubt you'll like it. Sounds really cool stoplight to stoplight, but after a few miles on the freeway you won't be able to stand it anymore.

I am only 18 and that is excatly what I wanted was a good loud sporty sound. I also have a very loud system in it. I have 2 15" subs

UBER LOUD!!!!

Monkey Boy Aaron G. had one of these on his 85 Blackpra after he 1st bought it. Was following him a few times on the freeway & I thought there was a low flying Cessna above me. Took awhile before I figured out it was Aaron.

Sounds loud w/ a lumpy sort of sound to it. Unless you have a high tolerance, your ears are going to hate it on long drives. Plan on earplugs, or turn the stereo up REALLY LOUD....

Yea... flowmasters sound a little like shit.

...a lot like shit, those style mufflers just irk me, always have a single rpm band that sounds like absolute ass, mine 40-series on my first mk2 was at 1800-2200rpm, cruising speed.

...look elsewhere for a muffler, please.

Ditto... I've got a magnaflo and love it, great flow and nice and quiet. Flomasters are great if you want to hang with a pack of honduhs and fit in.

never ran flowmaster, have run dynomax, that was a sweet sounding car.

im gonna be runing megan exaust on my turbo soon. no idea how it sounds, but anything better than a cherry bomb glasspack thats on it right now

what kind of subs you got? im running 2 10inch vegas, dual coil 600watts. and i can make the car behind me vibrate.

I have a flowmaster on my daily driver 84 Auto. Sounds just great to me, not too loud at all. It has a domestic sound to it, gurgly and deep.

The only reason it is not loud is because I have the stock 17" cat in place. If I did not have a cat, then I would imagine it would be super loud.

I had a Flowmaster 50 series Delta 2.5" in/out on my 3.0V6 4runner. all mandrel 2.5" pipe, no cat. Sounded like a V8ish, very loud. very cool sounding.. but annoying. Couldn't hear the CB, Hated it on the highway. So I had a shop fab up a custom 2.25" header flange back with a Walker High flow side exit set up. perfect for me. I'm 22 and hate flowmasters. Had 40's on my Vette.. Sick loud. I'd stay away from flowmaster. do like a flopro or Dynomax, Walker, etc.

i have a 40 series on mine, but its an old one. one day i found that my muffler was not working, the inlet pipe was detached from the muffler, so i decided to look around. i found this one, and installed. i am running no cat, and 2.5 all the way back. sounds ok to me (but i'm in the under 21 catagory). will change out as soon as i get turbo though

The flowmasters sound good at idle but the rest of the time they don't. Right now i have a glasspack on mine and it's loud but it has a good sound all the way through the powerband.
