Why two different brands of tire?

I could not find the sizes I wanted in the tires I wanted....I would have liked KDWs for the rear also, but the only thing I could get was a KD...to expension, not enough mileage for me....thought I would try the Direzzas, something new and the front will bite good with the KDWS.....I have the New Generation KDWs on my modified 02 WRX..
