I know that using adapters is not the "pure" way to goto 5 lug but can someone point me in the right direction for some quality adapters for our cars?
so a search, there have been tons and tons of threads on this subject.

Hahaahah, great contribution Alex.
One thing to keep in mind, hubcentricity. Pricier, but much cheaper than tossing a wheel hauling ass down the road.

I was looking at wheel adapter.com, why dont we just have people redrill 5x114.3 bolt patterns to 4x114.3 bolt patterns? Seems like to would be cheaper, easier, safer..........

One thing to point out about spacers is that the ones from TTT and the ones on ebay are both 45mm thick. That means you have to run a pretty big offset to make up the difference.
I'm planning to try a set in the rear with starion rims and hopefully the rims won't stick out too far.

wheel adapters seem like a good idea, if you want to run +40mm offsets on a five lug wheel
personally, i would rather run 0mm offset in a four lug, and have a fat lip. it seems to me that there is no reason to have five lug
just an idea

I've been thinking the same, since there are some real nice 4 lug wheels out there. I'm hoping that a ~35mm offset wheel with the adapter, 17x9 or 16x9 will fit the rear nicely. The front will be full 5 lug so no need for adapter there.
Never hurts to try.

Crown stubs and starion rims are a good fit depending on which ones you got. I got 16x7 fronts on the front and 16x8 fronts on the rear. Offset for both is 17 or 18. Will try to get a pic for you when I get off work to give you a better idea.

Did we get the 5 bolt crowns in canada? For some reason I thought the 5 bolt swap was a pain in the ass in NA. If we have them in canada I'm going to start searching then.

Yep, but for a Ptype car you can use the Starion 16x8 -10 or 16x9 +0 rears on the rear. One really good thing about the crown parts is that they have a center bore of 67.1mm, the same as the Starion wheels. I have two sets of these rims also. Looking for a set of 16x8 +18 front and 16x9+0 rears though.
I look forward to seeing your pics. Sounds like a really nice car. I remember you mentioning using MPV discs for the front set up, what year specifically? I think LV1OE1 will work, still trying to source them though. Possibly next week.

No, the parts came from Australia. Well worth the cost to use. Stronger parts and more affordable/better design wheel options.

Really nice car. Very cool. How would the 16x8 -10 fit on the rear? Wheels look like they were made for the car.

The rotors I am using are the LV1OE1 from the MPV. Napa part #4886321 or dBa part#961. 276mm, 28mm thick. It did require machining the starion hubs slightly.
How would the 16x8 -10 fit on the rear?
The wheels would sit another 28mm out from where they currently sit. I do not believe they would fit, at least not the L-type.

They fit perfect on the later Z31 hubs and yes there will be some slight machining on the Starion hubs to fit.
Redrilled to 4x114.3 they will also work on the stock MK2 hub without an adapter for the Z32 caliper.
Pics are in the Drivetrain section here. (http://www.celicasupra.com/vbforums/showthread.php?p=180762#post180762)

lets say i wanted to install 2 of these (http://technotoytuning.com/t3_site_pages/products/wheel_spacers.html) on each wheel. do i have enough thread on the original studs to install these with p type rims, or would i need to get longer studs? same question with only 1 installed on each wheel. thanks whoever responds.

Not enough stud length, you could change studs to those from a LandCruiser. I would not use two spacers per wheel, not safe. If you need more offset use adapters.

I was thinking about goin five bolt adapters, then i could use 350z rims and get the fat lip like they do with them. the only thing i see is tryin to order them and tryin to get the right size.
The rims would be 17x8 with a +35 mm offset.
There was a brand of asa's that i liked.

Just do the 5 bolt conversion....

Even with the 5 bolt conversion non-custom wheels aren't exactly common. There are more available than with the 4 bolt, but not a great improvement. This is why I put off converting my car over to 5 bolt on hold for now. Why spend $500+ convert to 5 bolts and still have to buy custom wheels or use adapters on the 5 bolts. It would be different if you could run 30 mm or so of offset wheel directly

Well, the Z32 upgrade needs some spacing to get the caliper to not foul against the inside of the rim. 20mm seems to be needed so you are at a 30mm front wheel offset to fit bigger calipers and stay at the nominal +10. i.e. you give up 20mm lip for the bigger caliper.

The front set up I posted pics of will need +20 offset wheels or even +28 (depending on width) if need be.
Most modern wheels such as the TSW Kayalami come in 5x114.3 +20 offset and more with space behind the spokes for big calipers such as those from the Z32..

Not to bring up an old thread, but i'm searching for 10mm wheel spacers to bring out my 16x8, 0 offset rims, so they will be flushed with the flair evenly. I've read that a 10mm spacer would suffice.
So this is what i found.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H-R-TRAK-WHEEL-SPACER-DRS-TYPE-10MM-4X114-3-PN-2064640_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c66Q3 a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1205Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c2 93Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZ item41463c33b0QQitemZ280351224752
The center bore doesnt match to our 60.1mm for the supra. In that case, would this work on the spacer to match it to 60.1?

Spacer:
64.1 Center Bore
Hubcentric Rings:
Outside Diameter (Wheel Bore Size): 75.00mm
64.1mm ≠ 75mm

What is the bore size on your 16 by 8's? 64.1 is a Honda hub size, maybe others.

If still using the stock mk2 wheels the lugs are short shank. Depending on the type of spacer being used a long shank lug might work to give a little extra bite. Just make sure the lug clears the holes in the spacer.
Edit: nvm, I see you are not using mk2 wheels. longer shanks MAY still be an option, but you might want to look into longer studs. 3 threads would not be enough to make me feel secure.

H&R spacers for a Geo Metro are 60.1, but they seem to only have 5/15/25mm offerings. Unfortunately, the studs that come with the kit are of a different pitch so you'd need to pick up a different batch of those from somewhere.

Zerodrag, why does the image of the Geo Metro spacer not seem to have our standard 4 lugs? It seems to be 5 lug with an extra lug hole.

The one's for a Geo have only four holes for the studs. I bought a set awhile back so i am positive of this.
