the books call for Platinums, but a lot of us like using coppers.

I use NGK coppers, and I've had no issues. They're also not that tough to maintain as I thought they would be, after 2500 miles of driving, they still looked new.

I did a tune up in the spring with toyota cap, rotor, wires and I had the dilema of choose spark plugs aswell. I believe the iridiums are overkill unless you have boost or high compression so it came down to copper and platinum for me. I don't mind changing the plugs, but ultimatley my decision was made for me by what the TSRM said..NGK platinums. I put NGK BPR5EP-11 laser platinum plugs in it. The car ran fine before and even better when I was done. I have no complaints.

Well, everybody has their own opinions but all I can say is I have no regrets. car runs great. When in doubt, do what hte manufacturer says (at leat for somethings lol) I figured I couldn't go wrong.

On thing to remember is that plats have a very long life span, which may lend you to leave them in for a long period of time. I would remove the plugs at least once a year to inspect that everything is fine but mainly to breat the seal the plug forms with the aluminum head. 5 years down the road it may be impossible to remove them when you need to if you haven't broken the seat previously.

Thanks for the compliments on the wheels. Always good to hear.

Happy premature birthday! haha. You should notice a difference, it's amazing how the little things can effect the car so much.

I noticed my idle was a little nicer. I can't really say I noticed a power increase but hte car just seemed smoother through the rev range. It was very noticable in the higher rpms, seemed to pull longer. Seemed to start a little quicker too but that may have just been in my head.
