Went to pull a part and purchased the edis components. I've been searching around and comprehend most of it except the vr sensor shield. What is that? Cause it says to run a wire to it and somewhere else.

you can use a peice of grounding strap for that. grounding strap is a metal braided sleeve that is flattened. bu the length you need ov ~1/4in wide. then squish it back to a sleeve and slide it over your vr wires. then soldier a lead from it to the gnd pin.
