Or is the gas syphoned by the carb? Can't remember and I haven't messed with a carbed setup in a long time...there's a whole lot of fucking vac ports and shit and I don't remember what any of them are. Which ones are needed? Anyone know of an online diagram that lists what each port is and where it's routed to? Fuel supply and return? Is there a fuel return?

yes it has a fuel pump. my guess is its still a mechanical pump on the drivers side of he block. there is a spot for it. the cressidas might have still had the lobe on the oli pump drive shaft for it. the supras im not sure if the 4m has it or not. doubt the 5m does as all 5m's are efi iirc.

as far as vacume, only things that have to have vacum are the brake booster, the fuel pressure regulator(if the carbed car even has one) the heater control valve, power steering pump, and the distributor. everything else is emmisions iirc and can be removed and the engine still run fine(prolly better) but you can only remove them if you dont have emmisions in your area.

I'll go have a loot at the cressida tonight and see what kind of pump there is. I do have a 4 or 5 gpm tranfer pump that I might make use of temporarily. I don't think the Cressida had an external pressure regulator...I looked for one but didn't see anything on the delivery or return lines.

Good...still just the basics.

Another question (on the supra)...there's two fuel lines, one goes to a banjo and the other is just soft line that clamped onto an "L" shaped fitting bolted to the block. The banjo fitting bolted to the FPR and the line from the block mounted fitting went to the front of the fuel rail (forward of engine). The one that went to the front of the fuel rail is the supply line, correct?

the hard line is pressure, the one with the clamp is return. its lower pressure.
