Hi,
I just bought a project car. The power windows are down. Since the car is currently stripped (no power), is there any way to put the power windows up manually?

I searched but didn't find any mentioning of maunally puting up the unpowered windows.

Thanks,
hong

find the wire harness for the windows and get two little wires put them on positive one wire and the other on negative . Then stick the two wires in the harness in different places in the harness and eventually you will find the right spot.

Ok, I will rig the car battery to drive the window motors then.

Thanks all! I finally got some alligator clips and connected them to window motor and car battery. Made it a lot easier to fix the d/s door lock with the windows up. I also feel a bit more secure with the windows up now. Not that there's anything in there for someone else to strip/steal LOL!!
