Hey all, its been a while since I have posted. I Was wondering if you could squeeze 225s on a 15" L type wheel. I believe they use 195s stock. The reason I ask is because 225 50 15 tires seem to be plentiful and I think it would look nice.
Thanks a bunch!

sure you can, although there will be more bulge in the sidewall. You might also want to take a look at the selection in 205's.

Actually, there are 2 different width 15" wheels. The 85-6's are either an 1" or 1/2" wider than the 84-. Search for the widths if you want them. You want the wider one's for better traction.

Yes, the width's are different, because the diameter's are also different.
A reminder for everyone....
82 - 84 L-Type's. 14 x 5.5", 195/70/14.
85 L-Type's. 15 x 6" 205/65/15's.
225's are going to have a bulge on them.... Mmmmm.....

You're correct about the 84 L type. I don't know about the rest so I assume that you're
correct there too.
