alright so i have 2 keys ones old and worn out a bit the others brand new and still sharp on the sides.
i used the new key even tho i dont normally and when i went to start the car again i couldnt get the ignition to turn. its stuck on lock. ive tried both keys lots and still no luck.
im turning the steering wheel even tho its not locked and brake on and everything i can think of to maybe help but its being stubborn. this sucks.

anyone have any ideas here?

Are you talking about the igntion lock? Wiggle the steering wheel back and forth while turning the key. If that doesn't work wiggle the key and or lock cylinder while turning it. HTH

yep, thats what i said.

its all good, we got it to turn, apparently this happens once in a while if your on an incline

the ignition cylinder is probably bad...and the tumblers are all worn, your best bet is to replace the ignition cylinder.

yea your probably right. i had to do the same thing with my truck and it cost around $100. its also a pain in the ass to have two different keys. :shrug:

Most key shops or Toyota parts dept can re-key the ignition.
