5M-E (-84 version)
about 9psi boost. (depends on where in the torque curve of the engine the SC operates)
440cc injectors
MK3 IC
1:1 ratio Malpassi FPR
back to stock headgasket :) (HKS 7M-GTE mhg leaked oil because of my dodgy mod to make it work in a 5M-E)
MegaSquirt Extra
Runs on E85 (85% ethanol, 15% gasoline) or on 100% gasoline.
Some tidying still to do in the engine bay. Just threw it together now finally that I could try some BOOST. I need a stronger clutch. :D
And I need to silence those BOV's. Too ricey now. :)

Awesome. Where'd that blower come from? Reminds me of an Eaton blower (the M62 or M90) that's used on the GM 3800 V6.

Right click and save it, the server is REAAAAAAAAAALY slow!

DarrowConley: 3 magnets on pulley triggering a hall sensor. Bosch ignition module controlled by the MS. Original loom used as much as possible. Innards of original ecu replaced with MS. http://hemiyoda.net/bilder/Cars/MS/MSS_ecu.jpg?offset=30
WadeT: I've giv'n 'er all she's got, Cap'n! Nah, but almost, it's a 5M-E hehe.. At the moment it's leaning out on the last 1500rpms. (~5800rpm redline) Why did my old laptop die just when I need it. :(
repinS: It's a Eaton M90. (origin semi-unknown. :) :))
SupraWes: It's slow and you live too far away hehehe. :D
Tried g-teching it today. 6.5s 0 - 100kph, 14.7s 1/4mile including traction/clutch problems.
On the wishlist:
Conversion to toothed belt ( the 7-rib belt has a hard time to run the SC, alternator, waterpump at the same time.)
Relocate the throttle in front of the SC. (to get rid of the BOV's/noise)

I think the BOV sounds pretty cool from what I can hear.

M90 seems to be the choice for supra supracharging. that is about the 5th supra engine I have seen now with an M90. They are under $100 usually on ebay. The custom work frightens most people off though.

Slow at times probably. The server it's my Amiga 1200/060/60Mhz.. should be capable of at least 5megabit. It might take a while for the disks to spin up too..

definately, just source one from a GM Series II 3800 and you've got an M90 on your hands :D

I'll get you some more revs :D :D as soon I've fixed my overcharging alternator. (It squeals when I shift in the video) Already one battery destroyed. :(

If only I kept my 5M-E and was given an Eaton Supercharger for a present...
That would have kept my 5M-E in my car...
Oh well... In goes the 1JZ...

6.5s 0-100 kph pretty much confirmed now. Aaah my polished turd (5M-E), you have done well. :D
Soon the polarbears will roam the streets over here, so no more boosting this year. Time to start saving for more parts in the parts closet: a smaller pulley for more boost (14psi?), another MHG for a second try, better IC, clutch, fuel pump and last but not least, stickier tires.

Done anything new with Megasquirt lately? We're gonna put the *error daughterboard to the test on the 2jz.
Keep the videos coming!

No news yet from here :). I have been out of the loop for a while, I had to search the msefi forums to see what daughterboard you are talking about hehe. The board adds some useful features for sure.
Last summer I built this for a friend with a Celica All-trac (gt4): http://hemiyoda.net/bilder/__phpAutoGallery__picLoaderTmp/hemiyoda.net/bilder/Cars/MS/zpider-ecu/640_IMG_1734.jpg
Almost plug and play, separate harness for the cranktrigger sensor. Prototyping area with 2 extra outputs and the experimental knock sense circuit.
I have a coilpack for a 7M-GTE I'd like to try on the 5M-E. That would also enable me to get rid of the distributor & stock intake manifold. (It looks horrible. Very unequal length runners etc. etc.)
A bit offtopic is that I have lost my job at IBM, they outsourced my location to Ireland. I am currently looking at starting up a company of my own because the computer business really sucks here now. Could be that my company would be dealing with car electronics hehe...
