those prices are all wrong, the turbo is grossly overpriced, the gte 6 speed swap is underpriced, etc.. i stopped at that point, and where did he get 800+ hp from. and 544rwhp only runs 12's at 115mph? thats sad. the mph should be much much higher even if he didnt get traction. 115 is ~350-375rwhp with a good 60ft. like a 1.9 or les.

edit, seems his was 1 mile in 12.2 sec, though i can garuntee that wasnt from a stop. if it was at 115mph the whole time any car that can go 115mph can do that. what a deushbag.

Is he serious about the top speed of a Supra being 115mph because it hits the red line? My Celica would do 115mph when it was stock and still have more rpm's left, the car was just out of power. I've gotten my car up to 120mph since doing my motor, mods, and differential. I've got automatic gears in the car now which makes the top speed a little lower but hell, I can still hit 120mph, eventually. He's full of shit.

According to math that a friend and I did independently a couple years ago (by which we came to the same conclusion), with 3.73 (differential) gears, a 5M with the W58 behind it could theoretically reach a max speed of 280 km/h, or 175 mph, at redline of 6500 rpms. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.)

Actually, for the calculations...to do one mile in 12.2 seconds, from a stop, is aerodynamically impossible (EDIT: in a vehicle) as I see it. Now I'm no expert at all, but that's pretty downright fast. I will go through some numbers...but I am taking off for lacrosse right now...I'll be back later.

OK I said I'd do some math, but it's over my head (I'm a dropout). Two things though: as I (and one or two others) have already said, it's impossible for a vehicle to accelerate from a stop and do a mile in 12.2 seconds, especially with only an end speed of 115 mph. At a steady speed of 115 mph, you only cover 0.390 miles in 12.2 seconds. Sounds crazy, but I double-checked my math, and supra_devil checked me also, and we came to only one conclusion. Also, as WilliamB said, to do one mile in 12.2 seconds you have to have a steady speed of 295.082 mph. I did the math myself on that one, too.
This guy is full of BS. And yeah, I know I just wasted 15 minutes doing that math, but I get a certain satisfaction out of doing stuff like that just to prove people wrong. (Yeah I took a while to do that simple math, but it's like past midnight...and I haven't done anything other than simply math for like...four years?)

No, you don't divide the mile time by 4. He is already at 115 mph per say at the end of the 1/4 mile. at the beginning he is at 0 mph and he has to gain momentum and he has to launch. Take for instance the 1/8 mile. if someone runs an 8 in the 1/8 mile, does that mean that their 1/4 mile will be 16? No... it doesn't. I need to use this. :rlky4:

Due to a vandalism which occurred last night on 10/19/05 which includes a loss of over $7,000 in merchandise, tools, and computers, vandals also tagged the inside of our shop with a hateful message, and damaged a few customers vehicles. Anyone with any information please contact me or the local police department so we can prosecute those who were involved in this crime.

Seann, I dont know who did this, but I've got a good feeling that if you satisfied a number of criteria, that person would gladly GIVE 209supras.com back. ...but for that, you have to do somethings first.

A.) Learn how to spell MOTOR. ...there is no "E" in motor, not singular, not plural, not EVER.
B.) I'm sure this person would like you to remove all our member's photos from your sites.
C.) I'm sure this person would like you to show proof of these project vehicles you've spoken of. Get in touch with me, and we'll set up a time and place where one of our socal members can come over with a video camera. If you fail to show the cars, I'm sure they'll take recipts for the parts you say you purchased, and dyno sheets with a phonenumber for the dyno shop that they can call and verify it was your car.
D.) I'm sure they would like to see proof on all those "attributes" you've listed on your myspace. Colleges must be listed so back-records can be pulled up, tax returns will prove your income is up there with what you say. Any automotive certification will have a signed/dated diploma of sorts, with a contact or source where it can be verified.

...now that's not too hard. Should be simple as pie, if you are telling the truth.

E.) Anything that you've said that you can NOT prove, you must publicly announce how full of shit you are, and change it. A little bird just told me that the redirect was moved elsewhere, and that he's very sorry to wrap CS.com up in this. Should take effect in the next few hours, dns changes work at a snails pace....

Anyone who would like to HTML up a site with a compilation of 209-supras information and quotes from members and Seann himself so to advise other's about Seann's business practices (or lack of) feel free to send some stuff .
