we had a dyno day on saturday, nice pleasant, cold afternoon for it.

10 guys ran, but two couldnt get good tach signals.

was a lot of fun, and fairly educational... especially good reminder to use heat shields on the exhaust pipe, as my car melted one of their straps and nearly left the rollers.
poor communication between the guys running it, but shit happens, no harm no foul.

i ran 120 hp and 137 tq on my first run, second run was aborted for the strap breaking.
third run was a little nicer... the car was warmed up and not running so rich (please see thread in general tech)
128 hp and 145 tq.
AF ratio was off the scale rich, probably about 9:1

ill try to scan the chart and post in the next couple days.

a good time, and definitely up for doing it in the spring, want to see how the 1uz fares.

thanks to supra_devil for organizing it all.

sounds cool. if i tried to dyno mine, i'd get to 5k rpm and the engine would blow. :sadsmilie

it wasn't dynoed. It was supposed to but upon inspection today i found out were at least part of my massive (read: very very very very very bad leak, 1L per 10kms or less) and it was the intake side front cam seal was blown right off. I was anticipating it to be the front main, but maybe not, if i'm lucky its just the cam seal.
I can keep up with my friends mk3 that dynoed 232 at 5psi, but it now runs 6-7 psi. so whatever your guess is.

However there was a couple really nice dynos put down by the mk3 guys. one was stock except an air filter and 2.5" exhaust and put down 200rwhp, and an auto mk3 with 5 cents in washers and completely stock put down 225rwhp.
And one of my favourite local cars, an 84 iirc Celica GTS, with a ball bearing turbo running 9 psi put down 185 rwhp iirc and around 220 ft/lbs.
