Probably the hottest example of 17" rims is Dave's white turbo beast in Cali. He's running 16x8's in front, and 17x9.5's in the rear. This, to me, looks very fitting for the second-gen supra. Other pictures that really show off the 17" rims are Malloy's old Simmons, now on Jehan's car and Charlie's 17" centerlines all round.

I had the 17 inch Simmons on the white car for a while. Handled much better than the 14 or 16 inch wheels. Of course, I was using wider tires too but they surely held the road well. Also had the Addco's front and back so I'm sure that helps along with the LJM bar.
Have fun with them, Jake!

Yes, they will rub if you purchase the wheels w/ a incorrect offset. If you get them w/ the correct offset, then there should be no rubbing issues. If you do this correctly & do a "proper" custom offset, instead of ordering wheels that have a high offset (because you happen to like the design) & you have to resort to adapters or spacers,,, You can possibly run into problems. Do it right the 1st time & you should be fine.

(Broken record mode.................... search button............search button, much of this topic has been covered here before.....).
