well, some of you probably know that im working as a laser cutter/draftsman.

its a decent job, good hours, indoors.
also lets me design and produce car parts (see header panel blockoff post)

well, i found out today that we are getting a new machine, capable of 5 axis.
this isnt the exact machine, but this page has some demo videos
http://www.mazaklaser.com/spacegear.html

this basically means ill be able to cut anything from flat sheet steel to pipe and preformed parts.

the pipe cutting ability means i should be able to build my own headers...
it would basically be a design, cut, and weld operation.
any of you who have scratch-built headers probably hate me right now.

any how, on to the meat of my post.

more supra parts will be designed in the future, including a spark plug galley cover, possibly with built in looms for the wires for those who want a recessed, high tech look.

other than that... ive gotta keep some secrets, but i MAY look into making a set of headers.
that wouldnt be for a while, but think of the potential :)

Sounds awesome man! Make sure you learn that machine so you can operate it in your sleep! That's gonna be sweet!

Why not a bracket to hold 6X9's in the rear of the car?
Or the EGR block-off plates, I couldn't find anywhere that was selling them online.

um, he already has made EGR block off plates. has one installed on his car, lol.

6x9's aren't the greatest either, put in a small sub and use some good 5 1/4's and you'll be happier with the results.

I didn't realize you were getting that machine for sure now, guess i'm gonna have to start looking at more stuff for you to make for me. :)

Damn, and i thought the bystronic byspeed 3 axis laser we have work was pimp.

bystronic is fo suckas ;)

weve currently got a mazak 1500 watt superturbo.
it does ok, but its old, and limited, hence the new machine.

stevrock, 6x9 brackets arent a consideration because i dont think you can fit them in the factory mounts... 5x7s are the practical limit, imo, and are a pain in the ass.

egr blockoff... maybe, later.

is there anything you can do to help out the rear camber, like some sort of weld-on parts?

"You expect me to talk, Goldfinger?"

"No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die."

:hail: Lasers are cool. :hail:

7/8" thickness ... nice. Best I've found around here is 1/2" and it starts to get a bit rough.

Even with the stock height springs there is horrible ware on the inside of the tire walls. I just want my tires to last as long as possible. Unlike you, some of us commute our cars and need the tires to last as long as possible.
At the moment I have a set of ST which will be getting a spacer put in to put the rear at stock height.
