yeah dude, i read that, pretty good stuff. 1001 hp, 253 mph top speed, damn. oh, and the quad turbo's ae nice too. :woot:

Interesting that the spokesdude says 1001 HP.

Technically the Veyron produces 987 HP, its 1001 PS which is the European (metric?) measurement of engine output.

It may be fast as hell, but I still call STOOPS on it!

Naw, if you read the Article on it, each production car really makes like 1040hp which is well enough to cover both claims. So thats why they can say it's 1001hp here and there both.

Blah. Strap it to a dyno jet and see what it will do. All that $$$, claims of 1000+HP and not a single dyno sheet to back it up.. Whatever.

I'd sure hope a 8L 16 cylinder with 4 turbos that costs a bazillon dollars would make 1000 hp. The official site has lot of cool videos;

This looks like one of those cars they tried to make as complex as possible. The grill completely ruins the car though. It makes it look like an automotive anteater or something.

Ya 1001 is actually ps not hp but 987 is still damn impressive. is it just me or is it not very attractive though
