refinish wheels NOT Supra

I bought 88 Trans Am GTA wheels the ones with the gold spokes kind. Just wondering if I could refinish them the same way I refinished the Supra ones. The lip looks almost the same and the painted spokes I can get stripped but I do not have a practice rim to try. Thanks for any help. Kevin

You can refinish them the same way you did your supra wheels. it's machined...it's aluminum...it's painted. same deal. Here is a great site that has just the info you are looking for. I read this site a few times to aid me in refinishing my supra wheels (my write up is sticky in the restoration forum). Hope this helps.

I think the GTA rims you are talking about are all painted...I'm not sure but then it would be even easier, just strip, clean and paint. eitherway you should find it useful
