Thanks to Dave Shepherd, we have ourselves a couple of videos from SILV 2005. First one is a compilation of Mk2's at the dyno challenge, starting with Eric's (elhsupra) 1UZ conversion, then Dave himself, Bob Sully, me, Derek and finishing with John Nguyen & his 1jz. The second is my 12.8 run at the strip. Enjoy. :D

Yes, first car, very clean 1UZ swap, with a nice set of one-off custom headers too! The rest, except for the silver car (1J) were 7mgte powered.

Thanks, I think it was the way that horseshoe I was sitting on framed that rabbit's foot shoved up my a$$ that did the trick.

Mk4 ran 12.4 @ 114.

Man I wish we got our asses up earlier to get there. We showed up and saw moorman run and then it was like an hour and a half till the invitationals. We had front row seats for the cody philips insident and the saad saad tire shooting. Got it all on tape too. I was likin the final stage racing MkII. He laid down some good #s but he couldnt hook up right at the track, and then he broke. :sadsmilie

Theres always next year.

Nice vids Maybe Ill be able to et some next year. 10 years of Supras. :woot:

My car did 336.4 rwhp at around 15psi...time to get a wideband setup.
John Nguyen was in the mid- to high 2s (260-275?) but he's only running about 10 psi
I think Derek was around 240 or so (stock boost)...don't quote me on Derek's and John's numbers, though.

Nice vids, Dave. Tell your wife that she did a good job. :)

wideband for sure bob.. I'm waiting :)

I think there is some power on the "cutting room floor" in your car. I saw some richness shooting out of the back.

Then again, I'm sure you have no complaints at 336.
