hey guys,

everyone here remember's the skunk... well its for sale now. It spun a rod bearing and it is going to cost me more to get it fixed then what i want or have to spend on it.

I have the block, crank, and pistons cleaned and everything. The engine is completely apart so the hard part is done. The head was re done only 1000 miles ago.... brand new alternator... new clutch, new rear calipers, new brakes all around.

i'm leaving the crossovers and speakers in the car..and the sony cd player.

it has leather and cloth interior gray and black. a/c works.

there is a few body blemishes... one on the passenger side rear fender (rust hole about the size of a tennis ball bellow the fold) and a couple parts of surface rust.


I was wanting to sell it for 800 because i just had to pay the guy at the machine shop 120 bux for what he did by measuring it. his list :

needs done:
crank needs turned down
cylinder needs bored becasue all are slightly different sizes
two rods are a little out of round (reason it spun a bearing)
needs new auxilary bearings for the crank.

so i will give everything i got for the car for $800.

btw.. i have valve seals i will install that way the head is ready to go

Why are yo not just getting an old 5M short block and plunking your re-done head on it???

There is lots of members in PA ... I bet if you asked nicely ... you would find what you needed C.H.E.A.P.

At least you could sell it as a running car then if you still wanted to sell it.

Don't sell! I have a block, crank, rods, and ceramic coated pistons! All in great shape. All you need are the bearings. I will let it go for ungodly cheap just to get it out of my garage to make room on the stand for the 7M And you know where I am the great town of Williamsport, I am also going to school in Blairsville.(Near Pitt and IUP) I would be willing to get rid of it for 50-100 bucks if you are intrested. Plus have many other parts. Don't sell its a nice looking supra!

those are the pics. the body is in the same shape as it was then. the interior is still in good shape. i've replaced parts of the interior from the help of others here. I hate to let it go. but all good things must come to an end.

btw OT. .. i may not visit this site much after its gone. keep in touch guys... I love seeing all the stuff you guys come up with...ie interior, body, motor swaps and stuff.. i would love to see some of the finish products of your projects in person. KEEP IN TOUCH!
