The video took awhile to load but it was worth it. Wow! That's scary. Loosing traction in the dirt on a mountain road with the possiblity of flying off. Nice find. :)

This is a great race. I have attended a couple of times. Never seen anyone go off the road, but almost hit spectators. The open wheel guys are really crazy, with tons of hp and rear wheel drive. They definantly hang it over the edge.

I was there this year....got some nice video going up at dark in the morning....great time...Froze my tail off, got a little sun, rained on, then started snowing.....great time....I was on the hill at Devil's playground....

Drifting = "Stunt show / showing off to either impress people with no regaurd for speed (or equipment), sell sponsors products, and most importantly ... LOOK COOL. "


If it uses a stopwatch and winners and loosers are seperated by 100ths of a second ... it ain't drifting.

I'm not trying to start anything ... this just realy bugs me. I'll lie down and play dead now... :faint:

I wasn't sure if I'd seen that before or not until the bug it the camera! I seem to remember that from somewhere. I love any footage from Pikes Peak. It's a shame that they're talking about paving the whole thing. It just won't be the same.
