This was a 4th gear pull and the boost was at 10psi. Larry has intake/exhaust mods. Just happened on the way back from Shawn's.

I'd like to wait till the body gets fixed and the R154 goes in. Otherwise, I can only run about 12psi tops - on a flat road.

That's why I kept shaking my head "no" wade. at any rate I still would have got atten so I am being nice to my daily driver. Dude-The 1/8 is cheaper, they dont run an NHRA National tech like Pacific, The guys runnin the show are cool, one of my customers(Marysville Transmission)plug, plug, plug, sponsors it, more than one MKII shows at a time, you make runs instead of waiting 1-1/2 hrs between runs-The Bitch is how far away it is for me-working on Friday doesnt allow for a 2 hr Friday night traffic jaunt to Monroe-Will make as many Saturday meets as I can this year, though-Sorry bout the thread hijack, Wade-Had to get that ad for the shop in

:new_mofug Mike and Graham have it down.It's cheaper,more runs,NO attitudes about ANY rides.Ya,there are a couple of "go really f'n fast guys" that probably wouldn't give us the time of day.But,the club that puts it on,kind of cornered Bill and myself last July,wanting to know if we were going to continue.They loved having our cars show up,and waxing the domestics,the 1st night we showed up.
Tech.....Does the battery have a hold down,do you have a helmut,do the tires have air,I don't see any fluids pouring out,here's your sticker,have fun,hope to see ya next time.

If it goes to a weekly event,I'm sure some of that will change.

It's a blast,cheap entertainment,over fairly early,we can go drink afterwords deal :D
From what I have heard,thru several sources now,it's a done deal.WWRA roundy-round club is out,Fri.night Drags are in.Looks like I need to make a few more connections,find out if they will change pricing,rules,charge extra fees for a membership,etc.
Best part,I get to learn real lights,not street light like back in the day,and not embarrass myself in front of the big boys :D

I'm not planning on every week if it's true,but every other week or so,I'll be playing.......on one condition...........they still let the kid ride during practice,and he's allowed in the pits to chase our timeslips :D

You weren't there the night we both took home trophy's :D We didn't spank 'em all,I got 2nd in class,Bill 3rd,but we opened a few eyes.At trophy presentation,we got cornered by the officials 'club guys" and mentioned what we had under the hoods,and what was coming from us and a few others,they got excited :D

FYI, i was brake boosting 4th at 60mph. That's why you can hear the turbo spooling yet the car wasn't moving. It's really not that bad.
