P-Type or L-Type?

Hi all,

New to the forum here, have a 1984 Supra, 194,00 miles, and almost back up and running.
At the risk of sounding stupid, what's the difference between the P- and L-type?
I don't seem to remember seeing any kind of markings on my car to tell me whgich one it is.

Ltype doesnt have fender flares, has big fat luxo style seats, and typically has an automatic. It also has skinny 14" wheels, and in 85 it came with a skinny 15" wheel.

Also some of them came with a digital dash. Although I have seen some with the standard analog style instrument panel. I have heard these are quite rare, Ive only seen a PICTURE of one.

I just looked at a rust bucket 84-l type auto with digital dash and all a week ago up in washington. if the body was in better shape I would have picked it up. :(
