Headlights kinda looked like a Herbie the Lovebug deal.

the pocessed one was funny....creepy but funny. The burnout was nice, not trying to be a jerk though but I was a lil disappointed I was expecting like a huge burnout with a bunch of smoke. Shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. Nice vids though Tanya keep 'em coming.

well once I figure out how to actually stand on the brake, then it'll be better. But I really don't want to break anything right now, lol! I'll get one someday :D

Tanya -- get 2 pairs of mini vise grips and pinch off your 2 rear brake lines at the rubber part. Then start burning and as soon as your foot is off the clutch, put it on the brake.. you'll burn till the tires catch fire! (Had an old set of tires on mine that were seperated... did this for like 4 hours one day-- driving around and laying rubber all over the place, it was a blast!)

uggg, or you can spend the less than 100 bucks to do it properly with a line locker and not risk fucking up your brake lines, personally, my SS brake lines are worth a lot more to replace than a line locker costs, so thats the way i will go.

good point.. forgive my ghetto line locker method.. a real one is a much better idea.

I honestly don't want to spend $100 or so just so I can impress people with burnouts...I'd rather get Brembo rotors for that cost. It's really not that important to do a real burnout to me

Anyways...about the headlights, they haven't worked since I got the car so we finally started tearing into them yesterday. The retractor relays don't get any power and we don't know why. The fuses all seem good, and the combo switch is out of my old '85 (lights worked fine)...so we basically hardwired the headlight motors to two switches inside.

I got really tired of seeing the cars headlights up all the time lol

All you need is a siren and some red lens covers... EVERYTHING would be an emergency! :zzzzz:

Tanya, my 83 did that too even though all fuses seemed good. Try taking out the Headlight RTR fuse under the dash EVEN IF it seems good. That solved the problem for me as well as another member on this board... forgot who.

tried that too, a LONG time ago, no worky. some major wire hacking went on with this car when TheCowGod had it... so who knows what's cut.

I love burnouts. Line lock is a blast!! I just put it in my truck last month and already wasted a new set of tires. It was totally worth it. My supra wheel hops too bad to dump the clutch like that. But I like to see other people do it. Do it again, this time turn the wheels all the way before you dump the clutch and get some donut's goin!
