probably wrong forum, but...

i have a VERY small pic of a pic id like to use as an avatar. but no matter what i do i can not get the pic below 10kb. i photoshopped the hell out of it trying to get it to 4kb or below. its now sitting at 50x50 pixels, with a image quality of 1(or very low). is there some other format i can use other than .jpg to get it smaller in size?

Done :) Better yet, give me the original and I make a better resolution 100x avatar.

Why dont you allow the avatar to be a little bigger filesize and dont allow any pictures in signatures. I had the same problem and just picked a generic one that happens to fit me quite well actually.

jsut in case anyone was wondering what the hell that pic is, its one of my favorite bands logos, H.I.M. (a 'goth-rock' band from the netherlands). i first heard of them from CKY, downloaded some of their music, and loved it.

i dont know what the hell the symbol means(i do know its a cross between a pentigram and a heart... duh), but it jsut looks cool IMO, if only it didnt have that weird pink background

Just to add to the ridicule of the VW pic here is a funny story:

A couple years ago I was looking for a car (eventually ended up with the Supra) and I knew the service manager at a local VW dealer. I was telling him that I was thinking of geting a jetta and he stopped me in my tracks. He told me in hushed tones that VWs are basicly crap that in germany they are cheep as borsch and that he would never sell me one if it was his choice.

Odd thing is this guy was always getting me deals on parts and service for the supra so I know he wasn't just being a dick. Food for thought.
