Well you had some good angle on the 3rd run but not enough throttle and good throttle on the 4th run just not enough angle..Not bad though..Now we just need some new stuff to compare with your progress..

no offence but aparts from the third run you aren't even really sideways, it not even what I call drift. Majority of the runs I could gain just as much sideways action by leaning on the throttle in my car.

The other week we did an up hill run about 20kms and its a shame the corolla behind me didn't have a camera because I was getting some mad angles and massive smoke through the corners. Then on the downhill run I was loosing brakes which was causing the rear to lock up on almost any brake application, this meant a was a decent amount sideways entering the corner then power on exits were insane all on a tight road. Mind you I had no choice, after a couple of corners I backed off though and decided not to make my ma61 a feature of the surrounding rainforest.

As I stated before and it even says on the Vid it self ""When I 1st started drifting**

point being, I've owned my car for maybe 3-4 months, done only 1000kms, and never drifted but can still hold bigger angles than that.

Heck I could get better angles in my daily driven sedan powered by a stock 22re thats racked up 420k kms on near to stock suspension and an openwheeler diff.

Infact I did get bigger angles this week when I did one lap of an industrial estate in a quick 2 mins of madness. :zzzzz:

That amount of sideways action is normal for anyone in any rwd car that uses slightly more throttle than normal and makes a nice tug on the steering wheel.

Once the supras finished ie round september i'll taking it to the track i'll get vids then. Not a huge fan of street action especially round my area cops patrol the industrial estates and back roads alot.

How about keep you negative shit to yourself dude. If you got nothing good to say (mate), don't say it (in this case).
Keep it up, Alex.

Better than when i first started drifting Good Vid.

Now aside from that why do people talk shit to other people on the damn internet i mean what kind of loser does that? You live all the way in austrailia and he lives in cali. So exactly what are you getting out of this shit talking. Are you gonna fly and have you car shipped to cali to have a "drift battle" or some bullshit like that which is probably what you would call it. And no one likes a person that brags about shit that no one cares about. But you'd be perfect for the cast for fast and fuious 3 since you such a good " drifter "

maximum yeah right hmmm why aren't every single racing team in the world using these wonderful 8 inch drain pipes then. Don't believe the shit some exhaust shops spins you so you'll hand out thousands to them, when you could of bought a paint tin and metal piping that would of done the same thing. :crossjerk

it's a drifter thing... if you come down here to socal, you'll see a lot of those angled exhaust with a angled option sticker on the rear bumper on top of the exhaust

zank
03-26-2006, 04:33 PM
Most of the time people do that is because they go and get crush bent exhaust systems and with each bend makes the pipe size smaller at the bends. Which means the least amount of bends = greatest amount of flow. In Alex's pipes you got so much bend its almost rediculous. Now seeing as most ricers are, they see this and want the same with out knowing the real reason why some are like the way they are. Now if you were smart about it and actually spent the money, you would know that a Mandrel bent exhaust system is the way to go.

my .02 for today

if you learned something today, good for you
if you didnt, well go fuck yourself you fucking ricer

Have a nice day :suicide:

Nice slideways action there. Hope to see some more up to date videos soon.

I have an Option DVD that has footage of some of the first Ikaten Drift competitions. There's like 3 seconds of a MKII drifting a hairpin. Neat stuff.

Hehe ya took the stickers off cos you finished buying your shopping list didn't you hehe jokes, nah man its cool, I guess I'm just have higher standards than the others, I attended probably 40 drift days last year doing photography so I'm not easily pleased.
