In order to help fund the site, I enabled a support/donation module. There are 3 levels:
Platinum
http://forums.celicasupra.com/images/ranks/csplat.gif
12-Month Supporting Member Subscription. Removes Google ads, includes more PM space & 6 times the regular Gallery space!
Gold
http://forums.celicasupra.com/images/ranks/csgold.gif
12-Month Supporting Member Subscription. Includes even more PM space & 3 times the regular Gallery space!
Silver
http://forums.celicasupra.com/images/ranks/cssilv.gif
12-Month Supporting Member Subscription. Includes more PM space.
Any/all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks gang! :) Also, for those who do not use Paypal, you can send a check/mo to my addy:
Thanks!!!

If the PM space is 200 messages for free, what's the new message limit for each paid level?

I'm totally with Ken on this one (number of PMs) as I'm usually around 160 - though I've never hit the limit (close!). I keep some for reference (folks addresses and numbers), and in my outbox, ones I've sent out many times in response to similar questions.

S-250, G-300, P-350
I was *very* generous by giving 200 messages in the beginning. For comparison, Supraforums gives 65 messages. Sooo, the added value here is extra gallery space.
To be clear, we are not selling a service here. Im not trying to sell you more PM or Gallery space, its just a thank you gesture for anyone who contributes to the site. :)

I have a question. I do not need no more space and everything but wiould have no problem donating. What do I do. Again I can just do the paypal thing and the site gives me more but I will never use it so i would rather just give it directly to the site itself. Thanks

kk: No worries. If you dont use the space, its ok. If you ever want to, the software will allow your user name to do so. No biggie :)
zz: I will send you a PM.

I made my very appreciative donation last night and expect my tote bag soon. I did have a serious question though. Is there any way to upgrade? If I hit a windfall next month I am thinking that I will pass it on to CS.com.

I know this site actually does require "work" and if it had been left up to me, we'd still be yaking on yahoo. Mike, If you want to pay yourself a stipend out of the kitty for your efforts, then its OK with me. I suggest tho much like political campaign contributions, full disclosure.

I was afraid Greg's comment would spark this.
Im not in this to make $$$. Hell, up until last year it was coming from my pocket.
I added the contribution module to pay for the additional bandwidth we are going to start soaking up with the gallery and increased discussion. I also have to pay for software and some programming. Im considering a switch to a standalone box, which will cost a lot more than what Im using now.
ps. Thanks to everyone who has contributed. There are plenty of more upgrades slated for the site. :)

I was only breaking some chops... Mike and I are good enough friends to understand one another. Perhaps that dsnt play out well over the forum.
Besides, Mike is a balla supreme, and he dsnt need to loot the puny cs.com account. He's too busy droppin G'z on Krissy and Dom for the underage girls on club nites.... whats that place called. Soap Factory I think?
Seriously... Mikey shouldnt need to come out of pocket to run this joint, and I think most everyone here knows that.

I know this is an old thread but thought I would resurrect it to remind everyone what a great service the forum provides. We all have access to a database full of information that helps us maintain and enhance our Supras. Think of all the money we save by seeking advise before we make those costly mistakes. Maybe consider giving some of it back as a Silver, Gold, or Platinum-supporting member; it’s a fantastic value and only takes a minute using PayPal.

this forum has so muck info and knowledge at its disposal, how could you not feel obligated to help out somehow. three days on the site i realized i need to help keep this thing up and going. GOLD PAID. thanks Malloy ... keep us up and running. is there any other way to donate funds,in a larger scale? you never know who feels like being generous and throwin a wad at the forums.
if thats all it takes to keep us up and running , everyone who has used any info aquired from reading these pages should be adding to the fund.
if you havent donated yet..... think about how much that wrong info you were given by your buddy would have cost you if it weren't for the cs members helping. seems insignificant doesn't it?
^^ 100% agree.payment sent.thanks for the site.

$$$ are extremely tight not only with car surprizes (just had a diff go on one) but my ex g/f is in a predicament..almost homeless.... so I've not only been spending money on gas making 150 mile trips there and back, sometimes twice a week, but also helping her out with little "incidental" stuff to do with moving/storing her stuff that keeps adding up.
Even tho' I need pretty much every dollar I can get my hands on at the moment, I believe the CS site is well worth it and appreciate the effort/time it's gotta take to keep on top of everything.
So for now, I'm just going to go for the Silver pkg...but how do I do that from Canada...in US funds?? Is there a Paypal address or something?? I clicked on the Home page link but got an Error msg saying "Incorrect Currency" or something like that.
Let me know how to go about this.
Thanks soooooo much to the CS site...it's totally AWESOME...I consider myself sooooo lucky I found it....not only for parts...(but just as importantly) to be able to pick ppls brains/get info on how to do stuff.
