I discovered Posi-Products last year at WalMart (of all places). I gave Posi-Lock a try for my stereo and speakers hook up. I have since used Posi-Twist too for reconnecting a broken wires - on an injector and elsewhere. No problems!
I found they have a web site and they sell their products online! A lot cheaper than WalMart.

At their site I see they also have Posi-Plug which I am ordering 10 ea to rewire my engine management computer so I'll have quick diconnect at the firewall and at various subunit and sensor locations in the engine room.
I don't often endorse a product so enthusiastically but I am sold on these.
I was an electronics tech in the military and am an excellent solderer but I have not had to use a soldering iron since using these. I have always hated crimp-on connectors as unreliable. These aren't crimp on.

Ive used these for awhile-Roger Swenson owns Teck-Pak, and ive sold their products for years-posilocks are susceptible to heat-thats their only downfall-That, and the "WTF is that" factor-

Update: I've been using these for several years and some of my connections have been in place for about three years and thousands of miles with no problems encountered.
I did have one wire fall onto the exhaust manifold and that was the only problem I had with heat - the posilock connector warped and turned color but the connection didn't fail, the wire itself burned before the connector did.

Looks interesting. Do you guys use the weatherproof or watetight versions or just the regular ones for under the hood? I guess my follow on question would be how often you clean the engine bay... ;)

I bought a pack of the posilock fuse holders for the fans on my Cressida recently and they seemed to work nicely. Its too early to tell how it will last but it seemed like a pretty sturdy product.

I've seen some at Fry's that were kind of interesting. They look like a crimp connector, but all you do is insert the 2 wires heat it up and the connector incapsulates the wires and solders them together. Kind of pricey though at almost a buck each connector.
