just wanted to share a new addition to my poopra,an e-boost boost controller.Dont know if you get them in the states but they seem to be fairly good quality boost controller, the new version retails for around $600.au but this one was $350.00 second hand(bought off a mates blown rx7).I used the vent hole as a place to install it as the vent was pretty stuffed anyway, not exactly pretty but its functional.anyways heres a few picshttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j257/pfullerton/13-08-06_0944.jpg

yeah my mates call it a poopra so i started saying it,and it just kinda stuck.I think they call it that cause it looks like shit.(my paint is a bit faded in patches)i prefer it to be quick first before looking good.

looks cool, what's unique about the controller?

i dont think its all that unique, you can preprogram three different boost and wastegate pressures as well as adjust boost on the fly,you can set the sensitivity of the boost controller to help control boost spike. And it has an auxillary function which i can only guess is for n.o.s or something like that. Also has a preprogrammable boost alarm which i hope i never hit,im only guessing that would come in handy when setting wastegate pressure, making sure you dont set it too high or else youll find youll start getting boost creep.I havent had a chance to really play with it yet as im still waiting on my turbo to arrive.Hopefully this week i can put it the test.

Cool guage. I've been interested in this boost controller model for quite some time now. Nice to see someone actually using it. It seems to pack alot of functions and quality in for it's size. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the newer ones also record a few minutes of boost info, plus have a peak/hold feature, plus a built in boost guage. Let us know how it holds out after you've got to play with it for a few weeks.

P.S. Oh ya, they are also small enough to fit inside a pillar pod, which is one of the other reasons I've been interested in it. Cool little units imo.

E-boost is the sex!!!!!
Got one sitting in the garage, one buddy called it the "cadillac" boost controller. (Hope that is good) ,

Auxillary function is a settable 12v out trigger wire(s, i was thinking there were two?) , very very handy. Probably most used for as stated nitrous. Other functions, are many I'm sure. My use for it, well if anyone (me) might be running Maf-t, there is the additional (5th, dial) that is triggered by a trigger wire, allowing you to adjust +- above and beyond your already tweeked fuel map. Hmmm, planning on running water inj. in the future... so it goes like this....... E-Boost trigger wire to n/c level switch on water/alky tank, then to pump, then to Maf-t trigger. This way if you run out of water/alky mix the pump never gets triggered, and keep fuel map applicable, but with alky tank full.....E-Boost triggers pump, triggers Maf-t auxillary setting, leans out fuel appropriately to achieve optimum mixture and take full advantage of alky. Run out of water ------> Level switch opens, and drops power to Maf-t wire and you return to safe mixture.

Viola, E-Boost, fits 2-1/6 gauge hole, three boost steeings, settable aux. trigger(s), programmable "delta-gate" configuration.
The sex^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Of course then there is stand-alone......
