...sometimes it isn't about searching this site. This site is wonderful for popular issues, and toyota-specific diagnostics, IE: "my charge light and brake light come on at the same time". Some mechanical issues rely more on a basic understanding of the workings of any and all part of a car. At this point, I would suggest reading up on how transmissions work, find some illustrations and breakdowns. A transmission is a transmission is a transmission, for the most part, any manual transmission diagnostic information will be pertainent to your issues, so search from that aspect, not "celicasupra.com, please tell me what's wrong with my car".
Please, don't get butt-hurt on that suggestion. I appreciate that you've searched, but it isn't the oh-holey grail of automotive knowledge. As well, it is just a suggestion based on my own understanding of cars. I'm new to this whole game (been mechanic-ing for less than 5 years now), and remember how I started out, and what it took for me to get to the place I am. Any suggestion I make is one that I've personally followed in the past and it WILL work out for you, but its your decision to undertake it.
...now, lets figure out this problem!
In the future, be specific under what operating conditions it occurs. IE: "...when the car is cold/warm" "...when sitting still/moving" "...high/low rpm/speed at low/high throttle"
...now lets think about what's movin' at different times.
Car's running, sitting in neutral, clutch is in. The only thing that's spinning is the engine and the flywheel/pressure plate. The transmission input shaft, which attaches to the clutch disk is not, the gear shafts are not, the output shaft is not, the driveshaft is not, the differential/axles/wheel bearings are not.
Now you let the clutch out, still in neutral, now the clutch disk and input shaft in the transmission are moving. Gear shafts, output shaft, etc, are not... Are you getting the grinding now? Could be a couple things, input shaft bearing is going, gears too close to meshing up.
...here comes the testing.
Jack that sucker up by the diff, and stick some jackstands under the rear subframe mounts (circular things infront of each rear wheel) so the wheels dont touch the ground. Now go through your setups again. See what it does with the clutch in while in each gear and neutral, and with the clutch out in each gear in neutral. You're listening for that sound to go away or change or something.
...now would be the time to start asking around, to see who's got a transmission close, for a good price. Just to get an idea of what it'll cost if you need to replace.
Once you get it tested, come back and let us know. IE: It does it in all gears, or goes away when in 1st/2nd but not the rest, ect....
Hope this helps,

I know it has been posted here befor thats why i was being so vague, hoping to just be sent twards the thread. But when i sit in neutral with the clutch out at a complete stop it happens and as soon as i put the clutch in it goes away and when im driving i dont hear it, i don't have it in neutral to often when i'm moving, i knnow thats bad for gas and my clutch but this car is so fun and fast why tell it to stop. But ill listen to it when i go out today and see if it grinds while im driveing and put it in neeutral.
