I double checked the FAQ, and the link for the Hella e-code headlamps is down....obviously!! haha...

I just want to confirm that these are the correct ones for the Supra. 200 mm Rectangular H4 fitment.

I guess this would replace the link in the lighting section of the old FAQ?

I assume the *best* kit to order is H6054A for $85? Which is the 55/60 watts rating. If I went to the 55/100 (H6054B), for highway use, would I need to do some work on the wiring? Would the stock wiring handle the significant difference? Thanks.

Just want to confirm before dishing out $100. One of my light's burnt out so I now NEED to replace it, and why not upgrade! :D

Grant

That is the right kit.
But I ordered my set through Lordco, I got the 200mm Rectangle H4's with 55/60W bulbs. They are well worth the upgrade from sealed beams, the pattern is nice with the right hand flare for road signs makes it good.

100W on high beam is 67% over the OE one.
Expect fuse to burn, and wire to melt after extended use on high beam.

I went with the PIAA's H4 that state 100W equivalent of light with 60W of electricity.

Thanks Guys, I guess I'll stick with the 55/60 set-up!

Someone needs to do a headlight rewire write-up...

What do you mean by a headlight re-wire? I thought the Hella lights were direct replacements, just with the option of being able to change the bulbs and not the whole lamp if need be.

They are. Id like to run 100W bulbs safley though.

Right....:duh:

Sorry...kinda got confused! I'll take a look at it when I replace mine and see how much there is too it and see what I can do. Will probably be a winter project for me though, so don't expect it anytime soon. :(
