Ohhhh.....now that could provide much entertainment.........
but then again....it could also tell you bad things.........
Anybody how capable the ECU on the mkii is?
I use 2 diagnostic tools at the shop...a cheapy, and a WAY to expensive Snap
-on Solus...some cars, even back to 94-95 when OBD-II was "becoming" the standard wil provide quite-abit of info through the ECU, basicly every sensor in the car will display/provide real time stats.
I know the 85's had a few more electronic bits, but I'm stuck with the Check engine flash light.......I wonder what else my car could tell me?
The Toyota SST EFI Checker #09991-00100-C checks the engine for 13 different functions. Rarely on eBay but the last Toyota/Aftermarket ones from this seller went for $200+
1. Battery voltage
2. AFM VC voltage
3. AFM VS voltage
4. Water Thermo Sensor
5. Air Thermo Sensor
6. Throttle Sensor Idle
7. Throttle Sensor Power
8. Starter Signal
9. Ign Signal
10. Injection Signal
11. blank ??
12. O2 sensor Signal
13. Lean/Rich Indicator
Obviously OBD and OBD II are way after the Supra.
