Where is Turn Signal Flasher in a MKII??

Hello new member here. (Have owned supras since 1980, had 1980 MKI, now have 1985.5/86 MKII) My turn signals are all of a sudden not working. But the hazards are. Is this a flasher? Or a turn signal switch replacement problem? Or something else? Using my shop manuals I have disassembled the entire driver's side steering colun, dash and under dash assemblies and I can not find the flasher anywhere to test or replace it. Am I blind? Is it obvious? Or in a hidden place? Can anyone offer assistance as to where it is? Or why my turn signals are not working? Thanks

your flasher is inside the main fuse box next to your left foot when your sitting in your car you're kind of have to look up passed all the fuses can't miss it is kind of big but don't go to any auto parts store they will sell you the wrong one, just about every single time

No, it's a royal pain to find for the first time. It's higher in the dash, like almost behind the cluster high. I think the steering column kinda hides it too from the bottom. Try reaching around and above the column. It's there somewhere.

OK guys. Help me out here. I'm getting confused and that's not hard to do. Is the car a 85.5 or an 86.5 (MKII or MKIII)? The 85.5, normally referred to as an 86 model year, or left over 85 models until the MKIII (86.5) models were ready.

Just say you have an 86 if you do. The 86.5 is the MK3.

No you don't. 85.5 would be a mark3, not mark2?????

My bad - long day at work coulda swore it said 86.5 the first time around - I need some sleep. Then I even typed it wrong too!
